Let's plan a trip to Cuba with me.

Cuba, officially the Republic of Cuba, is a country comprising the island of Cuba, as well as Isla de la Juventud and several minor archipelagos. Cuba is located in the northern Caribbean where the Caribbean Sea, Gulf of Mexico and Atlantic Ocean meet. In this writing I am taking you along with me on my trip to Cuba. Sit back and Enjoy!

1. If you travel to Cuba from the U.S. the type of Cuban tourist card you'll need is different, and more expensive, than the ordinary green Cuba Tourist Card. If you're flying to Cuba directly from a U.S. airport, you'll need to request a pink card, which looks almost exactly the same as the green Cuba Tourist Card but is only for those who fly to Cuba from the U.S. Please do not confuse the need for a pink Cuba Tourist Card with holding a U.S. passport. You can be a U.S. passport holder but if you travel to Cuba from any country other than the U.S. you can apply for the cheaper green Cuba tourist card instead.

Can You Use the US Dollar in Cuba? Officially, you can use US dollars, Canadian dollars, and Euros ONLY at airports in Cuba. In fact, although the CUP is also accepted at shops and restaurants in Cuban airports, we encourage you to use your home currency.

The cheapest ticket to Cuba from the United States found in the last 72 hours was $77 one-way, and $162 round-trip. The most popular route is from Miami to Havana and the cheapest round-trip airline ticket found on this route in the last 72 hours was $162. My travel date is set for March 12 2021 and my return date is March 17.

2. for my time in Cuba I will be staying at the Hotel Capri. The Hotel NH Capri La Habana is a historic high rise hotel located in central Havana, Cuba.

3. While I Cuba I plan to travel to few interesting places in the country, one being Cienfuegos. Cienfuegos is a city in Cuba that is unlike others on the island. Since it was founded by the French, rather than the Spanish, it has a unique atmosphere. The city is known as La Perla del Sur, or the Pearl of the South. For those who appreciate  domid-century modern architecture, the peninsula of Punta Gorda is a must see. There are still many 1950s homes, many of which have been carefully preserved. The center of Cienfuegos is Pueblo Nuevo, where you can explore the history museum, dine at an outdoor cafe or take a Spanish or French language lesson.

The next is the Santiago de Cuba. Located in eastern Cuba, Santiago de Cuba is a coastal city known for its colonial history. Santiago de Cuba was founded in the 16th century by the Spanish, and it is known as the Second City of Cuba. The heart of the city is the Parque Cespedes, a central plaza that is surrounded by a number of historical Spanish colonial structures. In more recent history, the plaza was where Fidel Castro famously declared the revolution a success in 1959. You can also explore the Castillo de San Pedro de la Roca, a 17th century fortress overlooking the bay.

4. When in Cuba I plan to do a lot of fun things in Cuba, i will go swimming in Vegas Grande Waterfall. I also want to go spending with the locals. I learned that Cubans are very friendly people.

5. For this trip the total amount came up to 4 thousand usd. Flight, hotel, adventure, tourist, up keeps, food, and more.
